The receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors and customers in a professional environment. The main tasks include answering phone calls, managing bookings and appointment confirmations, receiving visitors, performing administrative tasks, and responding to customer inquiries.

Key responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and customers in person or by phone
  • Respond to phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate people
  • Manage bookings and appointment confirmations
  • Respond to customer requests, such as inquiries about products or services
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as managing correspondence and emails
  • Manage customer records and contact data
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming work environment
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business goals

Skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of office software such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Professional and polite attitude
  • Knowledge of customer reception and treatment procedures
  • Good knowledge of one or more foreign languages is an asset

Education and experience required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Professional or college education in hospitality, tourism or a related field is an asset
  • Previous work experience in the field of hospitality or customer service is an asset

Remuneration:

The hourly rate for a Receptionist varies according to geographic region and experience. On average, the rate used by Onestaff's partner establishments is €16.00 excluding tax/hour.
