The beauty manager is responsible for supervising and managing all the activities of a beauty salon. He/she is responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating employees, developing marketing and sales strategies, and managing customer relationships.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage daily beauty salon operations, including scheduling work schedules, managing reservations, sourcing products and equipment, and managing inventory.
- Coordinate employees, including staff supervision, training and skills development, conflict management, and problem resolution.
- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to promote beauty salon products and services, working with the salon's marketing and sales team.
- Manage customer relationships, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring superior customer service.
- Monitor the finances of the beauty salon, ensuring that expenses are within budget and developing long-term financial plans for the salon.
- Maintain a safe, clean and hygienic work environment, in compliance with applicable regulations and safety and hygiene standards.
Skills required:
- Significant work experience in managing a beauty salon or in a similar position.
- Excellent management skills, including planning and organizing, coordinating employees, managing finances, and problem solving.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with employees, customers, and business partners.
- In-depth knowledge of beauty products, hair and makeup techniques, and beauty trends.
- Marketing and sales skills to develop effective marketing and sales strategies for the beauty salon.
- Knowledge of the regulations and safety and hygiene standards applicable to a beauty salon.
Education and experience required:
- A background in business management, marketing, or administration is generally required for this position.
- A background in aesthetics, hairstyling or makeup is a plus.
Remuneration:
The hourly rate of a Beauty Manager varies according to the geographical region and experience. On average, the rate used by Onestaff's partner establishments is €31.00 excluding tax/hour.
