The receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors and customers to a company, administration or organization. It is often the first point of contact with customers and visitors and therefore plays a key role in the company's image.
Key responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails
- Direct visitors to appropriate offices
- Provide information about the company's products, services, or activities
- Organize and coordinate appointments and meetings
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
- Manage deliveries and incoming and outgoing mail
- Manage customer inquiries and complaints
Skills and qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation and ability to work in a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
- Knowledge of office software and database management
- Good knowledge of administrative procedures and office management
- Proficiency in one or more foreign languages is an asset
Education and experience required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training in reception or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
Remuneration:
The hourly rate for a Host varies according to geographic region and experience. On average, the rate used by Onestaff's partner establishments is €15.00 excluding tax/hour.
