The Housekeeper is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the floor service in order to ensure an impeccable level of cleanliness, comfort and presentation in all rooms and common areas. She/He supervises the team of women/valets, ensures compliance with hotel standards and contributes to ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Supervision of teams:

• Supervise, organize and support the daily work of women/valets.
• Control the quality of cleaning, the setting up of the rooms and the respect of house standards.
• Train new employees and ensure the development of the team's skills.

Management and organization of the service:

• Plan tasks, allocate rooms and optimize schedules according to activity.
• Check the ready rooms and carry out the quality checks before the arrival of the customers.
• Manage stocks of linen, welcome products and cleaning equipment.

Customer relationship and internal coordination:

• Deal with special customer requests and guarantee a quick and appropriate response.
• Communicate effectively with reception, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth operation.
• Report any damage, malfunction, or need for repair.

Compliance with standards and safety:

• Apply health and safety procedures and internal protocols.
• Ensure confidentiality and discretion related to customer areas.

Skills required:

• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage a team and create a positive dynamic.

• Autonomy, rigor and priority management.
• Knowledge of hotel standards and professional cleaning techniques.

Desired training and experience:

• Previous experience in the hotel industry, ideally as a Housekeeper or Housekeeper Assistant.
• Control of cleanliness standards and quality standards in the hotel sector.

Remuneration:

The hourly rate of a Housekeeper varies according to the institution, region and experience.
On average, the rate observed at partner establishments of Onestaff Is of 22,00€ to 25,00€ HT/hour.
