The fragrance presenter is responsible for promoting and selling fragrances in a retail environment. She must have a thorough knowledge of different fragrance brands, olfactory families and current trends to help customers find the fragrance that best suits them.
Main responsibilities:
- Promote and sell fragrances in a retail environment.
- Use sales and communication techniques to help customers find the fragrance that meets their needs.
- Give advice on different fragrance brands, olfactory families, and current trends to help customers find the fragrance that best suits them.
- Conduct fragrance demonstrations for customers.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and personal presentation at all times.
- Work with the marketing team to understand the characteristics and benefits of different fragrance brands and to develop effective promotion strategies.
Skills required:
- Significant work experience as a perfume presenter or in a similar position.
- In-depth knowledge of different perfume brands, olfactory families and current trends.
- Outstanding sales and communication skills to help customers find the fragrance that fits their needs.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing work environments.
- Ability to interact with various types of audiences including customers, guests, and business partners.
Education and experience required:
- A background in sales or perfumery is generally required for this position.
- A background in aesthetics or cosmetology is a plus.
Remuneration:
The hourly rate of a Perfume Animator varies according to the geographical region and experience. On average, the rate used by Onestaff's partner establishments is €22.00 excluding tax/hour.
